Services we offer

I offer free quotes on the following services:

MANIPULATION, MOBILISATION AND TRACTION

Using the Diversified Technique, Sacral blocking, Activator adjusting instrument, flexion-distraction, and inversion chair, the movement of joints are restored within their physiological range of motion. It is often associated with on audible popping sound as gases are released into the joint space as the joint opens. These decompression techniques help restore the range of motion and flexibility in the joints, reduce pain and stiffness.

SOFT TISSUE MANIPULATION

Gentle or strong pressure is applied to the muscles and joints to release tension and stiffness. This involves the manipulation of soft tissue using the Thumper vibration machine and hands on massage using essential oils. Hot rocks are used to warm and relax the muscles. STM can improve poor circulation or oxygen supply, reduce pain and swelling, mobilize, and increase or release the tension in soft tissue. Deep tissue massage is used to release facia and trigger points.

DRY NEEDLING THERAPY

This procedure involves the insertion of an acupuncture needle into myofascial trigger points (“knots” in muscle or fascia) to reduce pain, inactivate trigger points and restore function.

ELECTROTHERAPY

Electrotherapy is a gentle and non-invasive modality that works by stimulating nerves and muscles through the surface of the skin using electrical pads and specific wave forms such as interferential current and transcutaneous nerve stimulation. This aids in stimulating muscles, increase blood flow, and reduce pain.

TEMPERATURE THERAPY

This involves the use of heat or cold to aid in the treatment of various conditions. Cold or heat packs, ultrasound, hot rock massage.

STRAPPING AND BRACING

This involves the use of strapping and bracing to aid in the treatment of various conditions to aid in stability and immobilisation.

EXERCISES, STRETCHING, POSTURE CORRECTION

Instruction and demonstration of stretches and exercises to aid in recovery.
